Organizing an unforgettable costume party for everyone

A costumed party is a great idea for any holiday or momentous event. In the following article you will learn how to properly organize and prepare such an event.

Who said that a party around a birthday, New Year or other significant event must necessarily be an ordinary feast with an abundance of alcohol and karaoke on your DVD player? Showing a little imagination, you can organize a really interesting and colorful event that will be remembered for a long time by your guests. So, how to properly prepare such an exciting holiday?

First of all, you will need to come up with the theme of the evening – this needs to be done based on the tastes and preferences of your guests. For example, among young people, “vampire” parties are very popular, when every girl dresses up as a devil or as a vampire queen, and young people act as Dracula and Frankenstein. However, if your friends are not too welcome to artificial blood, marmalade worms and other unpleasant souvenirs, it is better to think about a less extreme holiday.

After you have decided on the theme of the party, be sure to inform your guests about it, because they will also need to prepare for the holiday: think over the image, and also buy fancy dresses or costumes. You can buy absolutely any outfit to your taste – a costume of a fairy, a pirate, a knight or some particular fairy-tale character.

Another important point is the holiday scenario, which should be thought out to the smallest detail. In no case should the guests be bored, so work very well on the entertainment program: it can be any contests, the winners of which will receive small prizes from the host of the evening. For example, a very popular entertainment today is the setting of some tales in a modern way – for example, “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs”. To do this, you will need to rewrite the well-known fairy tale to all, adding to it a modern flavor, as well as buy a carnival costume of snow white, gnomes attire, a handsome prince, an evil witch, etc.

And finally, do not forget that you will need to create a festive atmosphere, decorate the room accordingly. For example, if you want to spend a holiday in oriental style, it is better to remove furniture from the room using a low coffee table as a table, and instead of chairs – pillows or small benches. In general, everything depends on your imagination and creativity – and most importantly, remember that the main decoration of the holiday.
